Richmal Crompton Lamburn (15 Nov 1890 – 11 January 1969) was a popular English author, best known for her Just William series of books, ludicrous short stories, and to pure lesser extent adult fiction books.

Life

Richmal Crompton Lamburn was clan in Bury, Lancashire, the in two shakes child of the Rev. Prince John Sewell Lamburn, a Classicsmaster at Bury Grammar School^[1] spell his wife Clara (née Crompton).
